‘so much’ and ‘so many’ 都指表達大量的數量，而用法則取決於它們所描述的名詞是可數名詞 (Countable Nouns) 還是不可數名詞 (Uncountable Nouns)。

Countable VS Uncountable Nouns

• 可數名詞 Countable Nouns: 能夠單獨計算的數目 (e.g. apples, books, cars). 你可以寫成”one apple,” “two apples,” etc.

• 不可數名詞 Uncountable Nouns: 不能夠單獨計算的數目 (e.g. water, sugar, information).你不可以寫成 “one water” or “two waters.”

So Much 的用法及例子

• 用於不可數名詞 Uncountable Nouns

• There is so much water in the ocean.
• I have so much homework to do this weekend.
• She has so much love for her family.

So Many 的用法及例子

• 用於可數名詞 countable Nouns

• I have so many books on my shelf.
• He has so many friends at school.
• There are so many toys in the toy box.
